Adam Madore Greetings everyone! I'm the proud owner and trainer behind Artisan Dog Training. My journey with dogs began at the tender age of 8 when, believe it or not, I had a fateful encounter with a beagle in our front yard. That encounter left me with a scar on my face, a lasting reminder of an unexpected experience. Despite the incident, my fascination with dogs only grew stronger.
Through the twists and turns of life, my love for dogs endured. As I entered adulthood, the desire for a furry companion became irresistible. I delved into research, seeking the perfect canine companion, and that's when I welcomed my first dog, Appollo, a German Shepherd/Lab mix, into my life. The decision to bring a dog home led me back to the dog training tips I had learned over the years and scoured online. However, I quickly discovered the vast array of training styles and levels, which left me feeling overwhelmed with contradictory advice and amateur perspectives. When Appollo faced socialization challenges, I sought the expertise of Animal Resorts and Training Center, where I had the privilege of training under the guidance of master trainer David Harris. David's science-based approach to training resonated with me, and I spent two enriching years under his mentorship. To this day, I maintain a close connection with David and his family. My journey into dog training captured my heart, and I haven't looked back since. I find immense joy in giving back to my community through volunteer work for charity auctions, dog training initiatives, and supporting rescues and shelters. Together, let's celebrate the wonderful world of dogs! |
My previous dogs
Hexe Von Prufenpuden
Hexe was a pure bred German Shepherd her mom (Dam) is Kentucky Silka and her dad (Sire) is Cupid Von Prufenpuden. Her Grandpa is Kobe Von Prufenpuden She comes from strong working dog bloodlines and she was my constant companion.
Hexe achieved her AKC Companion Dog title on her first try and with no errors ultimately placing 2nd, 2nd and 1st in the competition. I got Hexe from David Harris from Protection dog sales and she exceeded even my highest expectations. |
Bacchus Madore
Bacchus was a rescue from a nice guy in Georgetown Ky. Unfortunately he had to move to a smaller home and felt Bacchus wouldn't have enough room to be comfortable. I had Bacchus since he was 1 and he became a full member of the family,
Bacchus went with me to festivals and very packed gatherings. He's comfortable weaving in and out of thick crowds and loves to soak up the atmosphere.
